Description

Chris Dula (AKA Steven Sage, as his pen-name) has published his memoir and will be having his first and perhaps only, local Book-Signing-Event, at The Willow Tree Coffeehouse & Music Room on Saturday, September 2nd, starting at 6:00pm. His band, Kryss Dula & Friends will then perform at 8pm. The event is FREE to attend, but you will have to purchase a copy ahead of time if you’d like him to sign it, as it was a self-published work and he has very few extra copies, which he distributes to family and close friends. However, he will purchase a limited amount (less than 20 copies) to sell at this event, for those who do not yet have a copy (first come-first serve), for the same price as they are available online (see below), and he will donate all the money made from on-site sales to a charity of his choice. You can purchase yours ahead of time at the following links (or by entering “Experiments in Life Steven Sage” in the search bars of the Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Xlibris sites).

FULL BOOK DESCRIPTION: This story details how Steven Sage went from a middle-class life of privilege to teen delinquency, to the young adult life of a ne'er-do-well who was working jobs he hated, and to finding himself on the doorstep of community college. With a family and working twenty to thirty hours a week and having decided to better himself morally and educationally, he ultimately obtained a PhD in psychology and a career as a professor. It should be entertaining for most but perhaps inspirational. It shows that with a shift in personal mission, one can make amends for wrongs, recover from setbacks, and still make the most of life.
