My husband and I enjoyed our olive oil tasting experience. Staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Purchased the Herbes de Provence olive oil. Unfortunately, it had an extremely dry cork which broke off while opening the bottle. It is disappointing as I now have cork infused olive oil. Susan and Don Woodstock, VA
We really enjoyed the tasting this afternoon! We purchased the Organic Tuscan Herb Infused Olive Oil & Basiks herbs, they are amazing. We enjoyed your enthusiasm and knowledge and look forward to future visits.
Anyone choosing to visit the Abingdon Muster Grounds is invited to also visit the pioneer cabin (circa 1775) of Colonel William Preston Edmundson, who accompanied the Virginia militia from Abingdon to the Battle of Kings Mountain. The cabin is located in Emory, Virginia just 7 miles northwest of Abingdon, 1/2 mile off Interstate 81. Please call 336-816-0861 to arrange a tour of this authentic and historic Revolutionary War cabin, or visit our website at www.theemoryhouse.com.
By the way, I thoroughly enjoyed my time shopping in Zephyr's and nibbling at Muffin Man while my husband did business across the street. I will stop again to fully investigate the beautiful jewelry shop and other antique stores next week! You have a very lovely downtown that gets me AWAY from strip malls and into the spirit!
I highly recommend these cooking classes, even if you can just make a couple a year. Experienced chiefs sharing their recipes, meet new people, and even get to eat the yummy food at the end of the night. Not very experienced in the kitchen? Don't worry, they will walk you through. Be sure to check out the upcoming classes as the holiday's get closer. You will not want to miss out!!
My husband had just come back through Abingdon after a trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg Tennesee. I INSISTED we find this store from the advertising we found at the Comfort Suits in Abingdon.
Little did I know you and your wonderful town would be the HIGHLIGHT of our trip! We adored the building and the history. We loved the tasting! Your knowledge and enthusiasm is contagious! I left with a bottle of your 18 year aged Balsamic Vinegar and two bottles of the EVOO.
This company is the most unique and pleasant experience I have had in years. My husband agrees. (He was the one with the camera).
Thank you for a most (!) pleasurable experience! We will be back. We also have friends in the Princeton WV area whom we will encourage vigorously to visit!
Your art work is fabulous. I wish I could afford it. Please keep painting! Perhaps some of the wonderful things that surround you in lovely Abingdon?
Thank you again for a fantastic visit. I feel as if I've made a friend!
Hi Lois, I was told the hours are 9-5. I checked again to confirm and I'm still waiting for an answer. If I hear otherwise I'll update this page. Hope that helps.
