A Taste of Southwest Virginia : A Food Pairing Fundraiser Showcasing Local Craft, Food and Beer!
The evening will begin with interactive craft demonstrations by artisan members of 'Round the Mountain, a silent raffle of artwork by our members and items from our partners, and a cocktail hour!
Next, a skillfully crafted four-course meal will be paired with Wolf Hills Brewing Company beers! The meal will be prepared by Heartwood's Chef Charles Parker with guest Chef Morgan Lowe of Painted Peak Brewing Co. located in Tazewell, VA.

Based out of East Tennessee, Circus No.9 is a new progressive acoustic group that embraces the influence of Bluegrass, Jazz, Rock, and more. The group has appeared on stage alongside artists including David Grisman, Bryan Sutton, Larry Keel, and more. With awarded musicians Matthew Davis (2016 National Banjo Champion, 2017 Rockygrass Banjo Champion), Thomas Cassell (2016 Rockygrass Mandolin Champion), bassist Vince Ilagan, and guitarist Jed Clark, Circus No.9 is taking the new acoustic scene by force.

Male singers of all ages, from grade 4 through adults, are invited to sing in this fourth annual festival led by Associate Professor of Music Dr. Noah DeLong, Dr. Alan Stevens from ETSU, and Jane DeLoach Morison from the Mountain Empire Children’s Choral Academy. Participants will have the opportunity to fellowship with other singers, build confidence in their vocal abilities, and learn new music to perform in a public concert.
