The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is asking for your help identifying a suspect involved in a credit card theft/fraud.
On July 4, 2018 at about 6:30 PM, a white male enters the Marathon store on West Main Street in Abingdon. The male subject walks up to the counter and picks up a credit card that was left on the counter. The male places the credit card in his pocket. The card was later used to make fraudulent purchases. The suspect appears to be driving a silver or white SUV with the right rear wheel being solid black. See the attached photographs of the suspect. The vehicle the suspect is operating is seen in one of the photo’s parked at the fuel pump.
If you know the suspect in the photographs or have information regarding this case, please contact Detective Brandon Tweed at 276-676-6030.
