About Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center:
Hi-tech learning and conference center for education, professional development, and business and industry use.
State-of-the-art technology including high speed internet, wireless Internet access, and satellite reception.
Conference facility with 13,000 square foot Grand Hall (1500 person capacity), tiered executive auditorium (110 person capacity), u-shaped classroom (65 person capacity), plus 25 other classrooms available.
Computer classrooms available to business and industry.
Science lab.
Linwood Holton Governor's School for gifted and talented high school students.
College and university participants include Emory & Henry College, Norfolk State University, Old Dominion University, Radford University, University of Virginia, University of Virginia's College at Wise, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Highlands Community College, Virginia Intermont College, and Virginia Tech.
Now offering over 60 graduate and undergraduate degree programs with present enrollment over 1000.
