Are you going through a trial? Don’t quit. Don’t complain, and don’t lose your cool, because Jesus is right at the door! Come join us tomorrow in worships as Tom shares, “PATIENCE IN SUFFERING” taken from James 5: 7-12. Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful. But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation. All of us experience trouble in one way or another. Trials are a part of life. Everything from a flat tire to the death of a loved one, and everything in between conceivable hits our lives. You push and pull to get things done, and it seems like everything is working against you, especially for the believer in Christ today. God says to the wealthy, wicked oppressor: Weep for your miseries are coming. But He says to you and me who have trusted His Son: Wait for your Master is coming. Don’t quit. Don’t complain, and don’t lose your cool, because Jesus is right at the door! It will be worth it all when we see Jesus! Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ. One glimpse of his dear face, all sorrow will erase. If you’ve been feeling some jolts lately, consider the possibility that God has sent them to bring you back to life. Dont quit.....keep the faith. Remember....a part-time Christian cannot fight a full-time devil!
