Check out Andys bio here: Andy Carter Anderson has been a recording artist, entertainer, producer, studio keyboard , bass player, and songwriter, in Nashville Tennessee, for 25 years. Originally from Bristol Tennessee the birthplace of Country Music and his mother was a Carter from Hiltons Virginia home of the famous Carter family. At 27 years old, he was signed to producer Gary Cape (at that time with Capricorn Records, of Macon Ga.), for a one album deal which was recorded at “Studio Center” in North Miami Beach, Florida. His engineer was Ronnie Capone, who got a “grammy” for “Hot Buttered Soul” with “Issac Hayes”, as well as many acts with Atlantic, and Capricorn Records. Capricorn folded and Andy moved on to Nashville Tn, and opened up “Blue Ridge Music Group”, on famous “Music Row” at 1024 16th Ave. South(God bless the boys who make the noise on 16thAve.) During the years at that address where he housed his “Recording studio” and offices, Andy spent years recording with the “A” team at “Treasure Isle Recorders” in “Berry Hill” one of the hottest studios in town current home of Jason Aldean and producer Mike Knox. Andy was an in house producer there along with producers Paul Worley and Ricky Skaggs. Andy penned “Prayer for a Soldier” which achieved great acclaim, especially in “Music City” for his tribute for the troops and family’s involved in the 1rst Iraq war, resulting in commendations from “President George Bush Sr.”, as well as the“101rst Airborne, Screaming Eages” in Clarksville Tennessee. Andy is also Executive Producer and writer of “Stone Castles” the movie, a high school football movie with Nashville music set in his home town, Bristol Tennessee. He is negotiating with the production company who produced “Friday Night Lights” to produce and film this project and expects to put many “Nashville Stars” in the film, as well as contribute to the sound track.
