A fugitive from justice from Orange County, Florida was arrested in Washington County, VA. According to Washington County Sheriff Fred Newman, the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, received information that a wanted man may be in the Washington County, VA area. Further information provided that the subject may be armed and dangerous and had a violent past, in that the alleged offense he committed involved him portraying himself as an officer and displaying a weapon and badge.
On February 14, 2018, at 6:53 pm a search warrant was executed at 14321 Brynwood Drive, Bristol, VA by the Washington County Special Reaction Team, members of the U.S. Marshals Service and Washington County VA Sheriff Deputy’s in efforts to locate the wanted fugitive Constantine Tanada. Tanada attempted to flee out the back of the residence, but was met by law enforcement and immediately fled back inside, where he was apprehended without incident.
Constantine Thomas Tanada, age 29, was arrested and charged with Fugitive from Justice from Florida. He was transported to the Abingdon Facility of the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail where he is being held without bond.
Constantine Tanada is wanted in Orange County, Florida for impersonating a police officer, grand theft, false imprisonment and false personating.
